This opportunity is funded by the DAAD German Academic Exchange Service with funds from the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR).
Key facts:
- Duration: 24 months (+ 6 months extension possible)
- Funding: ~3.900,00 €/month (SA) + travel + additional research funds
- Research stay with the University of the Western Cape (Cape Town), the University of Pretoria, the University of Mpumalanga or the LUANAR-Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Lilongwe, Malawi).
- Open to German researchers or permanent residents
- Earliest start: July 2026
